Terms and Conditions of Registration and Cancellation
Who can participate?
All members of Helsingin Ekonomit and members of student societies of Suomen Ekonomit can participate to our member events.
Registration
Registration to all our events is confirmed by logging-in to Member Service. Registration closes on the last day of each event’s registration period at 23.59 unless otherwise mentioned. Available seats are filled on first-come, first-served basis.
Participation fee
Some of the member events have a participation fee (mentioned in the event description). The participation fee is paid when registering to the event. Have your personal online bank login information and/or your credit card ready for making a payment. By registering for an event with a participation fee, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of registration. The registration is binding, i.e. the participation fee will not be returned.
Cancellation
You can cancel your registration to an event without a participation fee within the event’s registration period. The cancellation is done via the modification link in the registration confirmation email.
In the event
When arriving to the event, register by giving your name to the organizers. In some of the events, pictures may be taken. If you do not wish to be photographed, inform the event organizers about it.
No-show fee
In case you have registered to an event without a participation fee but are unable to attend, cancel your registration at least three days (incl. the day of the event) prior to the event. The cancellation is done via the modification link in the registration confirmation email. If you don’t cancel your registration or do it later than three days before the event, you will receive a 35 euro no-show fee.
Students
All events organized by Helsingin Ekonomit are open to all the members of Suomen Ekonomit student societies. Students are welcome to network as well as maintain and improve their skills in our events. Terms of Registration and Cancellation apply also to student members.
